How to contact support, cancel a request, change your password, and answer other common questions.

Over the next 6 to 8 weeks we will be working with you and your company on some awesome stuff. Below you will find a rough timeline of what to expect and some important things to lookout for. We will be in touch by phone and email so please check daily for any approvals or messages to help us, help you.

1. By now, you have received an email with your Username and Password to login to your Dashboard.

2. Within days of signing up you will receive an email with a link for approval of your business card design. Once you approve you can expect to see these on your doorstep in roughly 2 weeks!

3. Within two weeks of signing up you will receive an email with a link for approval of the initial website design based on your direction.

4. Once your website design is approved it can take up to 3 weeks to be developed.

5. After your website is developed, we will then work with you to enter content into the site. Depending on how much content is needed on your site this process could take up to 3 weeks.

6. After your website has been designed, built and content has been entered, you are ready to launch!

7. To prep your website for a successful launch we will need one or more of the following a. Registrar Company Name, username and password b. Hosting Company Name, Username and password c. FTP Host URL, username and password d. If we bought your domain, sit back and relax and we’ll do the rest.

8. Congratulations, your website is now launched and we can schedule a training to go over the dashboard modules so you can start updating your website today!

○ Yes, However build times are dependent and it doesn’t always land in the $200/mo plan.
○ Nope! We work with clients all over the world. Our whole team works remotely, allowing us to find the absolute best team for our business.
○ Billing is Chosen from either the 1st or the 15th of Every Month. On Special Cases invoices can be negotiated by management on a case-by-case basis.
○ A lot! Your input and feedback are always crucial to this process. We’ll start with a lot of questions about your needs, your likes, your wants and work with you to develop just the right look and functionality.
○ We work with a broad range of company types [small start-ups, large corporations, nonprofits, B2B, B2C and more] across many business industries [technology, food, apparel, health + beauty, camps, travel, finance, arts, fair trade, and more.] Over the years, we’ve helped businesses improve customer service, market their products, and attract customers. ○ Our websites use a 3rd party payment processing company so it is PCI compliant as we do not store any client information and use SSL encryption to the site.

○ Verizon is the most  affected.. However all customers should no  longer be using 91944 and now they are on Twilio long codes.
○ Long Codes are like a local phone number to them.

EMAIL MARKETING
○ No, We use Webmail Provided By our cPanel Services (Horde, Round-Cube, SquirrelMail) However we do not manage spam compliance or clients chosen mail clients.
○ Yes. We create it through our own servers. We also recommend you use G Suite and we can also help you set-up G Suite which is separate from us.
ACCESS TO FILES
○ Most of our conversations regarding the projects are discussed via email. You can browse our email conversations.
○ If you’re an existing client with an Active and Current Paid Status, you may request design file formats but Websites paid on a monthly paid are not available to clients as MG retains ownership of them. Unless otherwise negotiated by management.
SEO
○ We offer a very in-depth On-Page/On-site SEO service for any client who has us design their website.
○ On-page SEO equips your website with indexing data so that your website is easily read by search engines. This ensures that your business website, products and services are found when people search for them.
○ We go through a multistep process when developing your site for on-page SEO. ○ We code your website in a language that enables search engines the ability to easily determine what the website is about. ○ Then we submit your website to be ‘crawled’ by major search engines tools like Google Webmaster tools and Bing Hostmaster. ○ MarketGrid websites are built to be easily accessed by your target audience and search engines by optimizing our code to do many things like smoother load times, and fixing common errors like 404 and 302 redirects. ○ We create XML sitemaps and submit them to the search engines. This is basically a road map or outline of what is most important and least important on your site. ○ We design your site architecture – meaning, it’s created to be seen favorably by search engines or Mobile Responsive. Mobile Responsive sites rank higher because they are accessible with mobile devices. ○ Content is also a major factor. Our customer service teams work with you to develop relevant content for your site to match what you would like to be searched by. They also help with the technical parts like image optimization, image search, meta titles, meta description, call to actions, preventing keyword stuffing and over optimization signals.
○ Truthfully, no one can guarantee you the number one spot on any search engine. However, we find that what we offer does yield significant results for our target clientele. To better increase your chances for better results, we can connect you to a sales rep to discuss off-page/on-going SEO options.
○ Time-lines and results may vary depending on competition, geography, and industry. For instance; if a lot of people are paying for ongoing SEO in a highly competitive market in the same industry, commonly those with the largest monthly spend win top Spots.

WEBSITE

○ Yes, we design and build customized WordPress sites and host them on our own servers, and we will also take over payments on clients’ Domains and connect it in our GoDaddy account.
○ Building a website will depend on the specifications that you need. It is to be discussed with you once you decide what you want and need. Also this is greatly determined on client speed with assistance in collecting assets, approvals, and content.
○ No, MG retains ownership of all digital assets for clients paid on a monthly plan. Any transfer of ownership of a website property is to be negotiated by management.

○ It’s dependent on a client basis, some clients retain  ownership and billing on a separate registrar like their own personal GoDaddy. However as a benefit to the client MG offers to manage and take ownership of a domain to reduce the client expenses and insure the domain is secure.
○ If a client chooses to cancel services with MG as long as they are paid current we are happy to transfer the domain out for them.

○ Yes, our website hosting is separately hosted on our private Cloud Based Web Servers and our Register.

○ Usually that is you. You are the expert on your business, so it’s usually best if it comes from you.
○ Yes. We include copy writing and editing in all of our proposals. We also build your sitemap and help structure the foundation of your website in the planning stages. Expect a longer time frame for website launches as content is very difficult and long process.
○ Yes, we are happy to help with your registar, However, we typically recommend you transfer the domain to us so it’s one less thing for you to worry about.
○ Yes. We will help you source stock photos from various stock websites and services. We also have photographers and videographers available to produce custom photography and videos for your website.(Labor hours will be quoted and charged on a case by case basis any 3rd party stock purchasing price may be charged to client)

○ No. WordPress is a great content management system that now powers more than 40% of the web. Its huge market share is due to its flexibility and ease of use. Don’t worry, we’ll teach you how to manage it and help you along the way.
○ However we build sites on almost any platform , these are custom opportunities and need to be discussed with management

○ Yes! We love it when our clients take control of their website and learn to manage it on their own. We’ll provide you with a set of comprehensive video tutorials to help you learn your way around, as well provide you with a training session to help get you on your way.(If built on WordPress)
○ It’s what we do! We provide on-going support for many of our clients. (This doesn’t apply to continuous labor hours on e-commerce or blogging, custom pricing is to be negotiated by sales
○ Absolutely! Having a mobile-friendly website is more important than ever! We work hard to ensure your website looks great on a variety of devices. We build all sites mobile responsive.
○ We host all websites on our private cloud based servers.
○ We are only an email, phone call, text, or chat away! We’re here to help you as much or as little as you need, and we won’t disappear once the site is launched. We’ve been doing this for many years, so we aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
CANCELATION OF SERVICES
○ No Problem as long as you’re paid current
○ No, you will not be able to access the website anymore.
○ No, you will not be able to access your requests and files through our Platform, or re-subscribe.
○ When your site is down, that means you need to pay your bill. Once payment has been made, the site will submit a ticket for dev to get it published again
