What Is AquaFutures?
AquaFutures is an evaluation-based prop firm specialising exclusively in futures markets. Traders pay a monthly subscription, complete a structured evaluation under defined risk parameters, and gain access to a funded Live Trading Account (LTA) with real profit-sharing payouts. No personal capital is placed at risk in the markets.
What distinguishes AquaFutures is its two-phase evaluation pathway, fixed daily drawdown protection, competitive contract caps, and a transparent consistency rule designed to reward disciplined trading over gambling. For futures traders who thrive under structured rules, AquaFutures offers a credible and well-governed route to funded status.
Evaluation Rules
AquaFutures uses a two-phase evaluation. Phase 1 requires traders to hit a profit target over a minimum of 5 trading days. Phase 2 is a verification phase with a lower target over 5 days. Both phases carry a maximum drawdown limit and a daily loss cap. There is no fixed calendar expiry — traders complete each phase at their own pace.
The daily loss limit is an absolute hard stop — once your account drops the defined amount from its starting balance at the open of that trading day, all positions are force-closed and trading is suspended until the next session. This rule applies in both the evaluation and the funded account. Traders who scale size aggressively in the morning session are most at risk of hitting this ceiling before the best opportunities of the day arrive. Plan your daily risk allocation before entering the first trade.
Account Sizes & Pricing
AquaFutures offers account sizes from $10K to $200K, catering to both newer traders looking for a lower-cost entry and experienced traders seeking larger capital. Monthly fees are tiered by account size and are competitively positioned within the industry. Seasonal discounts are available periodically through the AquaFutures website.
All accounts use a static maximum drawdown model — the drawdown threshold is set from the initial account balance and does not adjust upward as profits are earned. This gives traders a predictable and stable risk floor throughout both the evaluation and the funded stage.
| Account Size | Phase 1 Target | Phase 2 Target | Max Drawdown | Daily Loss Limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $800 | $400 | $500 | $200 |
| $25,000 | $2,000 | $1,000 | $1,250 | $500 |
| $50,000 | $4,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $1,000 |
| $100,000 | $8,000 | $4,000 | $5,000 | $2,000 |
| $200,000 | $16,000 | $8,000 | $10,000 | $4,000 |
Funded Account & Payouts
Upon passing both evaluation phases, traders are activated on a Live Trading Account. The daily loss limit and maximum drawdown rules remain in force. Payout requests can be submitted after the first 10 calendar days, with subsequent requests eligible every 14 days thereafter.

MarketGrid Verdict
AquaFutures occupies a solid position in the funded futures space for traders who prefer predictable, rule-based risk structures. The static drawdown model, tiered profit split, and low minimum account size give it genuine appeal across experience levels — from disciplined newer traders to professionals wanting a well-governed funded environment.
The two-phase evaluation and hard daily loss cap demand more patience and stricter session management than some rivals, but for traders who can operate within those guardrails, AquaFutures delivers a transparent and reliable path to consistent funded payouts.
