What Is Blueberry Futures?

Blueberry Futures is an evaluation-based prop firm launched in November 2025 by Dean Hyde and Marcus Fetherston, headquartered in Sydney, Australia. Built under the established Blueberry Markets brand — a multi-year regulated brokerage — the firm focuses exclusively on futures markets. Traders pay a monthly subscription fee, complete a one-step evaluation under defined risk rules, and gain access to a funded account with real profit payouts. No personal capital is placed at risk in the markets.

What distinguishes Blueberry Futures from many newer entrants is the credibility inherited from its parent brand, combined with a clean two-program structure — the Ascent and Accelerated plans — built around simple profit targets and a short evaluation window. The BlackArrow platform provides a modern, streamlined trading environment, and payout eligibility arrives faster than at most competing firms once funded-account conditions are met.

Evaluation Rules

Blueberry Futures uses a one-step evaluation with a 30-day window. Traders must hit a 6% profit target without breaching a 4% maximum drawdown. The two plans — Ascent and Accelerated — share the same profit target but differ in how drawdown is calculated: Ascent uses an End-of-Day (EOD) model, while Accelerated uses a real-time trailing drawdown that follows account equity intraday.

⚠ Critical: The Consistency Rule

Blueberry Futures enforces a strict consistency rule on funded payouts. In the Accelerated program, no single trading day may account for more than 20% of your total cycle profit. In the Ascent program the ceiling is 35%. Traders who bank one outsized day and then coast will find their payout cycle blocked until the ratio normalises. Build your equity across multiple sessions, not a single lucky trade, and this rule becomes a non-issue — but traders who rely on high-impact event plays should plan around it carefully.

Account Sizes & Pricing

Blueberry Futures offers four account sizes — $25K through $150K — across both the Ascent and Accelerated programs. Pricing is a monthly subscription, consistent with the industry standard for futures prop firms. Discount codes of up to 60% off are periodically available, making entry cost competitive.

The Ascent plan uses an EOD drawdown, giving intraday flexibility since open unrealized losses are not counted until the session closes. The Accelerated plan uses a trailing drawdown that moves in real time — better suited to traders who take profits quickly and are comfortable with tighter intraday risk parameters.

Funded Account & Payouts

Once a trader passes the evaluation, they access a funded account where real payouts begin. Payout eligibility is cycle-based rather than tied to a fixed calendar schedule. Traders must complete five profitable trading days within a cycle — with a minimum of $200 net profit per day — and maintain balance above the required buffer for their account size before requesting a withdrawal. There is no mandatory waiting period once these conditions are satisfied.

Platforms & Instruments

Blueberry Futures operates exclusively through the BlackArrow platform, a modern proprietary interface built specifically for the firm's evaluation ecosystem. The platform provides a clean dashboard with real-time drawdown tracking, performance metrics, and evaluation progress visibility. Traders access major CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX futures instruments — stocks, options, forex, cryptocurrency, and CFDs are not permitted within the program.

Pros & Cons

Strengths
  • Backed by Blueberry Markets — an ASIC-adjacent regulated brokerage with multi-year credibility
  • Single-step evaluation — no Phase 2
  • Up to 90% profit split
  • No activation fee on funded accounts
  • Two plan types — EOD drawdown (Ascent) or trailing drawdown (Accelerated)
  • No mandatory payout waiting period once cycle conditions are met
  • Maximum allocation path up to $450,000
  • Clean modern BlackArrow platform — dedicated for the program
  • Discount codes of up to 60% off evaluation fees available
Weaknesses
  • Hard 30-day evaluation window — fails automatically if not complete in time
  • Consistency rules limit single-day profit contributions (20% Accelerated / 35% Ascent) — affects event-driven and news traders
  • News trading restricted around high-impact events
  • Futures-only — no forex, CFDs, or crypto
  • Only two payout methods (Crypto and RiseWorks) — no bank wire or Wise
  • New firm — limited long-term payout track record; early user reviews are mixed

MarketGrid Verdict

Blueberry Futures arrives in a crowded futures prop space with one meaningful edge over most competitors: the weight of the Blueberry Markets brand behind it. For traders who value knowing there is a regulated brokerage infrastructure underpinning their evaluation, that distinction matters. The two-program model is well thought out — the Ascent plan suits traders who want intraday breathing room, while the Accelerated plan rewards disciplined scalpers who take profits fast and move on.

The hard 30-day window and the consistency rules are the two constraints to plan around carefully. If your strategy generates returns steadily across multiple sessions rather than relying on single-session home runs, Blueberry Futures is a genuinely competitive option — and one worth watching closely as its payout history develops through 2026.
