What Is Funded Trading Plus?
Funded Trading Plus (FT+) is a UK-based proprietary trading firm founded in 2021, evolved from the established education platform Trade Room Plus. It offers simulated funded accounts from $10,000 up to $200,000 across forex, indices, commodities, and crypto, with a scaling path that can reach $2.5 million — or $5 million with the Scale Boost add-on. No personal capital is put at risk in the markets.
What sets FT+ apart is its three distinct funding paths — Instant Funding, 1-Step Express, and 2-Step Classic — all with no time limits, no minimum trading days on the 1-Step and Instant programs, and payout access from Day 0 on the funded stage. With $19.5M+ paid out to 60,000+ traders across 180 countries and a 4.7/5 Trustpilot rating, it has built one of the stronger reputations for flexibility and payout reliability in the CFD prop space.
Evaluation Rules
FT+ offers three evaluation paths. The 1-Step Express requires a single 10% profit target with a 6% trailing maximum loss and a 4% daily loss limit. The 2-Step Classic uses a 7% target in both phases with a static 8% max drawdown and a 4% daily limit — the safer structural choice for traders with natural P&L variance. The Instant Funding program skips evaluation entirely, granting immediate funded access at the cost of tighter ongoing restrictions.
On the 1-Step Express and Instant Funding programs, the maximum loss limit is a trailing drawdown that tracks your High Watermark — including unrealized open profits. As your equity climbs, the drawdown floor rises with it. If you build a large open gain and price retraces before you close, your available buffer has already been consumed. Traders who take partial profits regularly manage this risk well; those who let winners run without stops do not. The 2-Step Classic uses a static drawdown that never moves — strongly consider it if swing trading or wider stops are part of your strategy.
Account Sizes & Pricing
FT+ offers five account tiers from $10K to $200K across all three program types. Pricing is highly competitive — the 2-Step Classic entry starts at $89 for a $10K account, and the 1-Step Express at $99. Instant Funding accounts carry higher entry fees reflecting the no-evaluation access. Discount codes offering 20% off are regularly available.
The table below reflects the 1-Step Express — the most popular evaluation path. The 2-Step Classic targets 7% per phase with a static drawdown; Instant Funding skips evaluation entirely. Check the FT+ dashboard for current pricing across all plan types as fees can vary by region and add-ons.
| Account Size | Profit Target | Max Loss (Trailing) | Daily Loss Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $1,000 (10%) | $600 (6%) | $400 (4%) |
| $25,000 | $2,500 (10%) | $1,500 (6%) | $1,000 (4%) |
| $50,000 | $5,000 (10%) | $3,000 (6%) | $2,000 (4%) |
| $100,000 | $10,000 (10%) | $6,000 (6%) | $4,000 (4%) |
| $200,000 | $20,000 (10%) | $12,000 (6%) | $8,000 (4%) |
Funded Account & Payouts
Once a trader passes the evaluation, the account immediately enters the funded (simulated live) stage. The base profit split is 80%, which can be upgraded to 90% via the paid add-on, or scaled upward through FT+'s performance-based scaling plan. Payout requests on the 1-Step Express and Instant programs are available from Day 0 — no waiting period required.
The scaling plan grows the account to the next size tier upon achieving 10% simulated profit, continuing up to a maximum of $2.5 million. A Scale Boost add-on extends this ceiling to $5 million on eligible accounts. Payouts are approved within 24–48 hours and the firm enforces a 24-hour payout guarantee — if missed, 100% of that withdrawal is awarded to the trader.
Platforms & Instruments
FT+ supports four platforms — cTrader, MT5, Match-Trader, and DXTrade. cTrader is the only platform where Expert Advisors (EAs) are permitted. US-based traders are restricted to Match-Trader and DXTrade. MT4 is not supported. Swap-free trading is automatically enabled on all 1-Step Express, 2-Step Classic, and Instant Funding accounts created from February 2026 onward — no additional request or fee required.

MarketGrid Verdict
Funded Trading Plus is one of the most well-rounded CFD prop firms available in 2026. Day 0 payout access, a 24-hour payout guarantee, a static drawdown option on the 2-Step Classic, $2.5M scaling potential, and genuine educational support through Trade Room Plus combine to make it a compelling choice for serious forex and CFD traders at any experience level.
The one decision that shapes your entire experience is which program you choose. The 2-Step Classic offers the most structural safety with its static drawdown — it is the right pick for swing traders or anyone whose strategy requires wider stops. The 1-Step Express is faster to fund but carries a trailing drawdown that demands active profit management. Know your trading style before you buy, and FT+ is hard to fault.
