MARKETGRID FOR STORES
Terms & Conditions
The rules for using Marketgrid and subscribing to Marketgrid Buying Guides.
Version: 1 November 2026
Who provides the service
Marketgrid is operated by The Marketgrid operator (legal entity awaiting confirmation), at [Registered business address]. You can contact us using the contact form or info@marketgrid.com. These details are awaiting confirmation in this draft.
Who can subscribe
The Buying Guide service is intended for businesses. You must be an adult under the law where you live and have permission to connect and manage the store for which you subscribe. Keep your account and store connection credentials secure.
What the service does
Marketgrid helps a retailer turn its available product information into a branded selection guide. Customers answer practical questions and see products to explore. The retailer reviews the questions, eligibility mappings and product information before publishing.
Guides support shopping decisions; they do not replace specialist installation checks or medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice. A guide is not a guarantee of suitability, product availability, sales or a particular commercial result.
Retailer subscriptions and guide credits
New retailer subscriptions include the price, guide credits, live-guide limit and generation-update allowance shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout. One subscription covers one website or physical location. Existing Store Starter contracts retain their agreed terms; they are not automatically converted to credits.
One guide credit is used when a shopper submits their first answer and starts a shopping journey, or explicitly requests matches for a guide with no questions. Opening a widget is free. Further questions, answers, backtracking and retries within that journey do not use additional credits. A journey lasts up to 24 hours and allows up to 80 answer edits. A failed start transaction does not consume a credit.
Included credits reset at the start of each paid billing cycle and do not roll over. Trial credits expire after 15 days. Purchased credit packs are separate, are used after included credits, and carry forward while the account exists; an active subscription is required to use them. Closing the account, refunds and chargebacks require reconciliation of unused and consumed credits.
Automatic top-ups are disabled by default. Where supported, the retailer must explicitly approve the pack, low-balance threshold and maximum additional spend per UTC calendar month. Turning them off stops new requests, but a payment already submitted may complete. There is no unapproved overage billing. The balance and alerts are available in the retailer account.
Generation updates reset each UTC calendar month and have separate model-cost limits to prevent unexpected usage. Existing guides continue while access and shopper credits remain. Shopify subscription periods are 30 days. Taxes and final prices are shown by the billing provider before purchase.
The Marketgrid consumer marketplace is separate. A retailer is not required to purchase this software subscription to be listed as an affiliate merchant.
Your 15-day free trial
A trial request does not start a charge or create a paid subscription. No payment card is required to request the trial. The 15-day clock starts when your connected guide is ready and the trial is activated. We show the trial expiry date for the connected store.
One trial is available for a store connection. After it expires, an active paid plan is needed to keep published guides available. You must explicitly authorize checkout to start paid recurring billing; the no-card trial does not silently convert into a charge.
Payments, renewal and cancellation
For custom websites and physical-store deployments, authorized payments are processed through Stripe when that payment route is enabled. Shopify and WooCommerce marketplace installations use their applicable native billing route; buying through one route does not automatically cancel another subscription.
A monthly subscription renews at the price and interval shown at checkout until it is cancelled. You can request cancellation through the contact form, or use the relevant billing-management page when available. A cancellation request and a refund request are separate actions. Your confirmation should state the cancellation date and any remaining paid access.
First-payment refund
If the service is not right for you, request a full refund of your first monthly subscription payment within 15 days of that payment. Marketgrid does not deduct a refund administration fee. See the Refund Policy for how to submit a request and how marketplace purchases are handled. This promise does not limit rights that applicable law gives you.
Your catalogue and branding
You retain your rights in the catalogue, text, logos, images and design material you supply. You give Marketgrid permission to process and display that material as needed to prepare, host and operate your guides. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share it.
Keep product facts accurate and do not publish misleading prices, invented reviews or unsupported safety claims. You are responsible for your products, fulfilment, returns, customer service and legally required notices. Do not upload shopper personal information or confidential third-party material into a design brief or catalogue description.
Automatic drafting and publication
When you choose automatic drafting, the service uses OpenAI to propose wording and guide structure from catalogue facts and your design brief. Automated content can be incomplete or wrong. Review it before publishing, and pause or correct a guide if information changes.
Design matching uses supported layouts, brand settings and supplied graphics. It does not promise an exact copy of every website or automatically create artwork. Public stock photographs shown on Marketgrid are illustrative and do not imply endorsement.
Buying from a listed store
When a visitor follows a product, offer or affiliate link, the purchase is made with the destination retailer. Its prices, availability and purchase terms apply. Marketgrid may receive commission from some links. A listing is not a guarantee, and cashback is offered only where specific published terms actually provide it.
Suspension and changes
We may pause access to address misuse, security problems, missing payment or unlawful content. We will explain the issue where reasonably possible. We may also need to interrupt service for maintenance or third-party outages; no uninterrupted-service guarantee is made.
Changes to paid pricing or material plan terms will be presented before they apply to a future renewal. They do not retrospectively change a payment already made. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that the applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
